Vibration stimulates and relaxes lower back muscles and those in the abdomen. The intensity level is low.
Kneading Massage—Uses circular motions on each side of your spine at the same time. Comfort is achieved by relaxing tense muscles. Swedish and deep tissue massage uses this method. It stimulates blood vessels, nerves, glands, and circulation for more activity.
Promotes—Loosening tight-knotted muscles and swelling where circulation is not as energetic and dynamic. Muscles can increase in size and strength and toxins will be removed from the body. The intensity level is high.
Rolling Massage—This massager will warm and soften muscles for a further deeper massage. Use continuous pressure close to the spine with a gentle up and down rolling motion. Use with a long strokes or use the fabric covered units for your feet. They do not vibrate or thump and do use Shiatsu or acupressure methods.
Promotes—Decreases muscle tension and highly effective for relaxing the lower back muscles. Excellent for those who have labor-intensive jobs or those who sit for hours. The intensity level is low to medium.
Percussion Massage—Rapid even movements are directed over tense sore body areas with short and even series of motion. It stimulates blood vessels by consistent movement.
Promotes—Concentrated extreme relief for sore and tense muscles including the neck, shoulders, and back. Wonderful for athletes and anyone wanting improved muscle strength. Helps to dislodge phlegm from the lungs. The intensity level is low to medium.
Compression Massage—Directs pressure with the massaging nodes that rotate soothing tense tight muscles. With additional pressure, the focused muscles will relax and also helps irritated nerves with sciatica pain.
Promotes—Active people, runners, and those devoted to sports will find relief from overworked, burning, and tired muscles. It is great used on trigger points. The intensity level is high.
Spot Massage—Is directed towards massaging motions to stimulate and calms any body area for the release of tension when used with pressure. A specific spot on the body will receive the same relief.
Promotes—Tension and relief of pain at any sore muscle for relaxation. The intensity level is medium.
Heated Massage—Is an additional feature with massage units that provide warmth and comfort to sore muscles.
