Design and Materials

The bed itself is ultra-padded, using a high-density foam that will comfortably contour and form to each individual’s body shape. The tabletop and armrests have a two and a half-inch layer of foam. For the headrest, three inches has been used, along with a detachable cover. You are also supplied with extra headrest covers so you can have a clean one ready for the next client.

Quality all the way…

The upholstery used is a high-end PU synthetic leather, which is subtle, soft, and highly durable. It is a vegan friendly material that has no nasty smell like some other synthetic coverings seem to have. It is also incredibly easy to clean, and you do not have to worry about massage oils spilling on the surface.

After every massage session, simply wipe it down. It is both stain-resistant and fully waterproof.

Strength and stability

Both the armrests and the headrest feature composite supports that make them resilient to warping and bending.

Support and rigidness are greatly enhanced by the steel support cables. These attach to each leg. Double tension adjustment knobs allow for the full tightening of each cable. These prevent any wobbles and creaking.

The frame has a weight capacity of up to 450 pounds. That is quite a bulk, so you can see it will cater to any size without any issues.

Dimensions

Let us just give you an idea as to the size of this table.

The dimensions of the Soloniture table fully erect are 84 inches long, including the headrest, with a width of 37 inches, including the armrests. Height is adjustable from the lowest stand at 24 ½” and can be raised to 35 ½”.

Separately the headrest has dimensions of 6 ½ inches long and is 4 ½ inches wide.

Portability and Set up

The clever structural design for this massage table is surely the product’s highlight.

This is lightweight and weighs in at 35 pounds. And it folds up relatively easily, and you lock the frame in place by using two chrome clasps. After that, all you need to do is tighten the steel cables that tie it securely, all in place. That is pretty much it, apart from attaching the headrests and positioning the hinged armrests.

For breakdown, it is the opposite of the above. Then, lock it in the folded position, again using the two chrome clasps.

A place for everything and everything in its place…

For moving from one place to another, once folded down, all your massage oils and other accessories can be stored within the folded table’s frame. This includes the headrest and extra covers.

On purchase, the table comes with a nylon carry case. This has a wide opening that is easy to place the table inside. Zip it up, and then double shoulder strap handles allow for carrying.

The bag is a bit flimsy…

We noted, however, that the bag is a bit on the flimsy side. Some users have pointed out that the seams can split and fray. So we advise some caution when carrying the table in the bag.

Anything of this size will always be a bit cumbersome to carry. Saloniture has made it as easy as can be, but, obviously, for manoeuvering, you do need to take extra care.
